Hair runs in the family; Wendy’s dad is a barber and owns Gils Barber Shop in North Dakota. Wendy says hair is something she has always loved. “I love being a hairstylist because of the artistry and the people,” Wendy adds, “Working at the Beauty Bubble is a magical place and it makes me happy.”✨ The Beauty Bubble is the hair brain creation of Jeff Hafler, who shares his collection of over 3,000 vintage and quirky hair and beauty related artifacts from hair-dryers and curling irons to hair nets and shampoo advertisements. Located in the Southern California desert town of Joshua Tree, The Beauty Bubble Salon and Museum makes for a very fun and quirky roadside attraction NOT to be missed! For everyone who stops by the salon, it is a very nostalgic place that reminds people of their mom or grandma. Jeff says, “Everybody has a memory attached to something in here it seems like.
